A Business Confidence Survey was offered to all businesses in Woolgoolga as part of the preparation of the Woolgoolga Town Centre Masterplan. Businesses were not required to identify their business names and survey results will be aggregated and displayed on this website.
The survey closed on Sunday 9 March 2014. A total of 46 businesses completed the survey. Results of the survey can be viewed here.
The primary objective of the business survey was to determine the level of business activity, confidence and behaviour of Woolgoolga’s businesses both in the immediate short term and track changes over time. The 2014 survey has indicated that the business community has confidence in Woolgoolga as a place to do business, and also confidence in the future of the town.
In addition, the information gathered through the survey will also be used to support submissions and applications to state and federal governments for additional services and funding for Woolgoolga and the CoffsHarbour local government area.
This survey may end up being conducted on an annual basis which would enable Council to track trends in the confidence and behaviour of Woolgoolga businesses.
